Session Formats

The Expo education program will feature a variety of session formats. Our goal is to provide a diverse and engaging learning experience for our attendees.

2023 Expo will be an in-person event in Melbourne on 1 -2 November 2023 with no virtual sessions, therefore we will not be accepting submissions for virtual sessions from our speakers.

While we encourage you to select the session format that best suits your presentation and we will do our best to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned the session format you have selected. Depending on the needs of the program, we may need to offer you an alternative format.

Discussion panelsA 30 minute moderated discussion panel on a selected topic + 15 minutes of Q&A time
Individual presentationsA 30 minute individual presentation + 15 minutes of Q&A time
In-depth WorkshopsThere will be a limited number of in-depth 2 hour workshops during the Expo

Therefore, we ask that you ensure your session content is educational and informative, and refrain from using your session as a platform for self-promotion or product promotion.   • By submitting your application to speak at our event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

    • In-person event. You understand that 2023 Expo is an in-person event and you must be available to attend the event in Melbourne on 1 -2 November to present your sessions. We will not be providing any technical tools or support for virtual or hybrid sessions.
    • Sharing of Information. You agree to share the information you provided in your speaker application, including your name, job title, company, bio, headshot and the submission outline, in the program and other marketing materials related to the event.
    • Submission Acceptance. You understand that submission of a speaker proposal does not guarantee acceptance to speak at the event. If your speaker proposal is accepted, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in the speaker agreement provided by the event organisers.
    • Photography During the Event: You understand that photographs may be taken during the Expo and you grant us permission to use these photos for marketing and promotional purposes for the current event and any future events.
    • No Compensation: You acknowledge that you will not receive any compensation for the use of your photos, information, or any other content related to your participation in the event.
    • Changes to the Program: We reserve the right to make changes to the event program, including the schedule, speakers, and topics, at any time and without prior notice.
    • Release of Liability: You agree to release us, our affiliates, and our respective employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your participation in the event.

    By submitting your application to speak at our event, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
