By registering for an event online, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and you confirm your acceptance of all of the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo Registration and Associated Events Terms and Conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”): 

Event Registration:

  1. Definitions
  • “ISSA” means the International Sanitary Supply Association Oceania.
  • “ISSA Expo” means the ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo 2024.
  •  “Associated Event” means an event associated with the ISSA Expo, including but not limited to, educational sessions, networking events, receptions, etc.
  •  “Event” shall mean, collectively, the ISSA Expo, an Associated Event, or other session/event that may be held by ISSA.
  •  “Event Manager” means ISSA’s event organiser or any of its agents.
  •  “Venue” means the location of an Event.
  •  “You” means you, the individual registering for the ISSA Expo. 
  1. Payment (when applicable). Certain Events require payment of a registration fee. All prices are in Australian dollars and subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST). ISSA’s preferred method of payment is credit card. Credit card payments will be processed through a secure online payment service. ISSA also accepts direct deposit (EFT). You must pay within 30 days of the invoice, and, in all cases, prior to the date of the Event that you have registered to attend. 
  1. Cancellation/Refund Policy (when applicable). If you register and pay to attend an Event and are unable to attend, you may assign your registration to another individual at no additional cost. If you are unable to attend and eligible for a refund, you will be refunded using the same method you used to pay for your registration; provided, however, ISSA and Event Manager reserve the right to refund you using an alternative method. 
  1. Event Content. ISSA and Event Manager reserve the right to make changes to the published program or content of an Event, including, but not limited to, the location, content, timings and/or speakers. 
  1. Event Venue. Events are held at various venues and locations throughout Australia and New Zealand. ISSA and Event Manager may need to change the published Venue for an Event for reasons beyond their control and, in such cases, you may not be entitled to a refund. You are liable for any loss or damage caused to ISSA’s, Event Manager’s, and Venue’s property and premises. You agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies (including policies related to behaviour and conduct) that may be in place at a specific Venue. If you have a disability or medical condition that requires access or provisions at a Venue, please notify ISSA or the Event Manager when you register. 
  1. Rights in Materials. All copyrights, trademarks, service marks, and other rights (including all intellectual property rights) of materials provided for an Event, including, without limitation, notes, slides, brochures, magazines, articles, or case studies, are the sole, absolute, and exclusive property of ISSA, or its licensors. 
  1. General Data Protection.
  • Future Communications. By registering to attend an Event, you consent to receive future communications from ISSA and Event Manager, including, but not limited to, e-newsletters from relevant publications and promotional materials for future events. Following registration, you may unsubscribe at any time. 
  • Personal & Contact Information. By registering to attend an Event, you consent to your personal and/or contact information being provided to ISSA and Event Manager. By registering to attend an Event, you consent to ISSA and Event Manager sharing your personal and/or contact information with third parties for marketing purposes. 
  • Onsite Collection of Personal & Contact Information. Certain Events allow exhibitors or sponsors to collect attendee information onsite by scanning individual visitor badges with your consent. This information is collected for lead capture and direct marketing purposes. An exhibitor or sponsor may only scan or collect your information with your consent. An exhibitor or sponsor cannot force you to have your visitor badge scanned and, if you do not want it scanned, you must object at the time any such request is made. 

Conditions of Entry: 

  1. You must possess valid registration or proof of purchase to enter an Event. ISSA, Event Manager, or Venue reserves the right to request proof of registration/purchase and your identification. 
  1. You or any other person entering or attempting to enter a Venue without prior authorisation or valid registration for an Event, will be liable for prosecution.
  1. Once inside a Venue, you must be aware that lighting levels may vary. 
  1. For the safety of all visitors, during the course of an Event, strollers, capsules and prams may not be permitted entry into a Venue. If you have a stroller, capsule or pram and it is not permitted then you will be directed to a Cloakroom or similar location to have it cloaked. 
  1. Any person that is 15 years or under must be accompanied by an adult (at least 18 years of age or older).
  1. Smoking and vaping is prohibited at all Events and Venues. 
  1. By entering an Event or Venue, you: 
  • Agree that you are entering an area where photography, video, and audio recording may occur. 
  • Consent to your image and likeness being taken and used by ISSA, Event Manager, or the Venue website, social media, and other such media channels. If you do not wish to appear in any such photographs or videos, please inform an ISSA or Event Manager staff member. ISSA and Event Manager will take reasonable steps to limit your inclusion in any such photographs or videos but cannot guarantee you will be completely excluded from any such photographs or videos.
  • Agree that ISSA and Event Manager make no representations as to a Venue’s policy on using and/or limiting, or ability to limit, use of your image or likeness. 
  1. Any Event at any Venue may involve a level of recreational risk associated with a crowded environment, which may result in personal injury from time-to-time. By registering for an Event or entering an Event or Venue, you must assess your level of risk and you assume any risk of entry. 
  1. You must wear appropriate attire at all times, including footwear. You may not wear any clothing with lewd or offensive writing, images, or imprints. ISSA, Event Manager, and Venue reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to determine whether attire is appropriate and may deny entry or request that you leave if deemed inappropriate. 
  1. Animals are prohibited from Events and Venues, except for licensed assistance or service animals in the company of their registered owners. You must have a copy of the license, certified by law, available upon request. Service animals must display a companion vest/lead. 
  1. ISSA and Event Manager reserve the right to cancel, withdraw, postpone or reschedule any displays or presentations at any Event. 
  1. ISSA and Event Manager make no representations or guarantees that there will be space for you to observe any particular displays or presentations at any Event. 
  1. Photography, video and audio recording is not permitted within an Event or Venue, unless prearranged and approved in writing by ISSA or Event Manager. 
  1. Unless authorized by ISSA or Event Manager in writing, you must not conduct any commercial, political, soliciting, promotional, performance, surveying, canvassing, demonstration activity, collect contributions, or distribute materials at any Event or Venue.
  1. ISSA, Event Manager, and Venue reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person without entitlement to a refund, including any person who causes a disturbance or refuses to comply with reasonable requests made by ISSA, Event Manager, or Venue. 
  1. ISSA, Event Manager, and Venue reserve the right to ask you to present any bags or parcels carried by you for inspection and to ask for proof of purchase for items you are carrying. 
  1. By registering for an Event, you hereby agree to comply with any reasonable direction given by ISSA, Event Manager, or Venue, including security arrangements for the Event and Venue, which may include searches of clothing and possessions, prohibition of certain items, including but not limited to knives, umbrellas, glass, illegal items, vehicles or other transportation devices (except as required because of a disability or age), alcohol, and items which may, in ISSA, Event Manager, or Venue’s sole discretion, cause a nuisance or danger. 
  1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that ISSA will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage suffered by you in connection with an Event and Venue, including, but not limited to, liability for any injury, loss or damage caused by ISSA, its Event Manager, their employees, contractors, or agents. 
  1. If the liability of ISSA may not be excluded but may be limited under any legislation, ISSA’s liability is limited to replacing, re-supplying it or repairing the relevant goods or services (or paying for the replacement, re-supply or repair).
  1. ISSA, Event Manager, or Venue may cancel, delay, interrupt or stop an Event due to dangerous situations, adverse weather or any other causes beyond its reasonable control, and such cancellation, delay, interruption, or stoppage of the Event shall not entitle you to any claim whatsoever against ISSA, Event Manager, or Venue. ISSA, Event Manager, and Venue are not liable for any injury, loss or damage caused by any matter outside of their control, including but not limited to, strikes, acts of God, civil commotion, weather, riots, fire, legal moratorium, war, terrorism, pandemic, or action the government. 
  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under any applicable consumer protection legislation. 
  1. In the event any portion of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed unenforceable, that portion shall be deemed removed to the extent necessary and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect. 
  1. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time without notice and effective upon publication to ISSA’s website. 
  1. ISSA Expo Venue Condition of Entry. If you are registering for the ISSA Expo, you specifically agree to the Conditions of Entry of the Venue: ICC Sydney https://iccsydney.com.au/about/venue-information/conditions-of-entry/.

 

Health & Safety: 

  1. By entering an Event or Venue, you acknowledge that there is a risk of contracting COVID-19, other viruses, or infections (collectively, “communicable diseases”). ISSA, Event Manager, and Venue do not guarantee that it is or remain a COVID-19 or communicable disease free area. You assume all risk for any exposure, loss or damage caused while in or around an Event or Venue. 
  1. By entering an Event or Venue, you consent to the collection of your personal information by ISSA, Event Manager, and Venue for the purpose of contact tracing and consent that it may be shared with relevant authorities. 
  1. DO NOT ENTER AN EVENT OR VENUE IF: 
  • You have coronavirus (COVID-19). 
  • You have any of the following symptoms, however mild: fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, or loss of sense of smell or taste, or any other cold or flu-like symptoms. 
  1. You may be required to undergo hand sanitasion upon arrival. 
  1. You may be required to maintain physical distancing while inside the Event or Venue. 
  1. You may be required to wear a mask, if required by the relevant health authority. 
  1. ISSA, Event Manager, and Venue reserve the right to deny entry to or remove you from the Event and Venue for any exhibiting communicable disease like symptoms or your failure to comply with their direction or any relevant health authority’s direction, including, but not limited to, additional health and temperature screenings or subsequent failure to meet satisfactory results from those screenings, or failing to adhere to any social distancing, hygiene practices or other processes as deemed appropriate by ISSA, Event Manager or the Venue. 
  1. To continue to protect one another and stop the spread of COVID-19 and communicable diseases, the Australian Government’s Department of Health and Aged Care advises you should practise good hygiene and get tested and stay at home if you are positive for COVID-19, a communicable disease, or experiencing cold or flu symptoms. 
  1. During the Event, you must remain within your allocated Event space to minimise unnecessary movements throughout the Event and Venue. 
  1. You understand that these Health & Safety provisions are subject to change without notice at any time by ISSA, Event Manager, Venue, or as required by the relevant governmental health authority.
